Comments: Yvonne, missed seeing you at the reunion. It was heartwarming to see a number of first time attendees. There is never enough time to "catch up", but we made the most of the time we had. Thank you to the 14 classmates (and spouses) of the 2009 Reunion Committee who saw to every detail in making our 45th celebration a success. See everyone in 2011 in the islands were it all began.

Date: 14 Oct 2009     From:     Larry Ramiscal   Location:    Las Vegas

Comments: I want to thank the 2009 Reunion Committee on a job well done. all three days were very memorable and filled with fun. I enjoyed reconnecting with classmates that came to their first reunion after all these years like Patrick Cuyno, Eddie Aranaydo, Pamela hung, Judith Moniz and Lucy Domagsac. I especially enjoyed the VILLAGE PEOPLE with their rendition of YMCA which really broke the ice that night. Again, great job. See you in 2011 in Hawaii!!!!!

Comments:  Hello Msss Yvonne - Great web site you have going. I'm here in lovely San Diego and am interested in your 2009 Reunion. After looking thru the various pictures on the web site, gotta admit that 45 years certainly dimmed my memory. Not that looking 45 years older has helped any. Anyway, I'm not lost anymore (I know where I'm at), and when you send out the 209 flyer or announcement, please add me to the distribution. Would appreciate it. Over the years I picked up a nickname (Charley). Don't ask, it's a long story. Thanx.

Cheers, Charley aka Rich Gooden, Waipahu Class of 1964, from lovely San Diego

Comments:  Hi - I just stumbled onto the Google page that had the 04 class reunion pics etc...interesting stuff indeed. I was just there in mid-Dec with my wife for my first visit back to the Islands since leaving to join the Army in 1965 and then on to Viet Nam and a little bit of history - small world. I even found the high school (Waipahu) and house we used to live in at Iroquois point (formerly Naval housing). Anyway, I got a note from Pat Parmley a few years back and he's fine. Still looking for our other running mate - John LeGrande.  Would you happen to know his whereabouts? If so, please let me know. Well, take care and it was great seeing pics of both Karen Simdars and Barrie Dunlop (sp) I had a crush on both of them for years. Anyway, life goes on and I am fine. I have been blessed with a wonderful and very successful life. May yours be as well.

Comments:  Yvonne & All:  This past Saturday, 17 Feb 2007, I sat next to Roger and his granddaughter at the Ewa Federal Credit Union Annual Meeting which is held at the Ewa Elementary School's Cafeteria.  Roger's lung cancer tumor has shrunk in size considerably from what it was during our Class Reunion in Las Vegas and his granddaughter won the $1,000.00 cash grand prize.  Mike

Comments: Thank you Pearl and Herschel Esperas for planning a fun evening for us and our classmates at HMC on Monday, Nov. 6th. I had such a fun evening with all of you!!! And, yes, my husband Bill enjoyed himself as well and had fun talking with you, Evelyn.  It was wonderful to see those of you from the Vegas reunion last month and an extra special treat to visit with those I haven't seen since graduation...like Dennis Unciano, Hilario (Beno) Ursua, Roy Suzuki, Stanley Takiguchi, and Sharon (Takiguchi) Higa.  That evening was an enjoyable respite from some very stressful family business I am dealing with here in Hawaii.  Thank you for your kindness and sweet spirit! With a grateful, appreciative heart and much love. Mahalo Nui Loa, Yvonne

Comments: Greetings to Class of 1964. My name is Jane (Doi) Yap and I found the wonderful web site. It is wonderful seeing all of the photos. I have been living in Oregon for 31 years and retired in 2002 from the Portland Public Schools. I was dismayed that my name was not even on the missing classmates list. Remember how hard we worked on the class play "Teahouse of the August Moon" with Michael and Franklin? Hope to see all of you at the next reunion. Please put me on the found classmates list. Thank you.

Comments:  Dear Carolyn & Committee:  Thank you for a beautiful time and the itinerary was right on, couldn't have done it any better. You have my support and I'm sure the rest had a blast. Oh, by the way did I tell you, you look so beautiful, you're like good wine, you just get better as we age. Looking forward to our next gathering. By the way, John Ynigues "Giggy" passed away when he was 50 yrs. young, he died in Germany. We all was in the 10th All Hawaii "Imua Unit" and he took a European discharge and married a German national. God rest his soul. John and I from basic training to transportation school to Germany but then got split up to different companies in Germany but still seen each other every now and then. Celia called me yesterday and gave me the bad news. At the party I had asked her to find out about John cause she knows the family. Anyway, hope to see you all again in Lost Wages classmates. Take care of yourself and may you always have enough.  All my alohas and love, Brada Panak

Comments:  Upon returning from Vegas trips, I am often asked, "How was your Vegas trip, John...???" My standard reply was, "I didn't win any money, but I had fun." Thanks to all the hard work of our 60th Birthday Bash Committee, I can honestly say that not only did I have fun, but I had a GREAT time. Of course, winning a slot tournament on Saturday didn't hurt...!!!

To my fellow classmates who took the time to strike up a conversation with me, I apologize for staring at your name tags. Note to the next committee: Make those name tags bigger for us vision challenged classmates.

My wife, Roseanna, asked, "Are the committee members all former student body leaders...???" I had to do some contemplating on that question. After all I lost my high school annuals about 25 years ago and much of my memory about 15 years later. Later that night, I turned to her and said, "I can't be sure, but I don't think that the committee was made up of former student body leaders, these classmates were the fun folk of our Class of '94..oops...I mean '64."

Comments:  Hi:  Just wanted to express my thanks to all of you for a job well done. It was, I think, the best ever and I had a wonderful time (even if I was late).  My only regret was not spending time with the three of you (Larry, Carolyn, and Yvonne) to catch up and to personally thank you.  Hope to see you all in three (3) years. Again, mahalo nui loa for a job well done.  Love, Celia

Comments:  60 Years Old Birthday Celebration and Class Reunion - Wow! What a blast and a blur. I had soooo much fun with everyone. I reacquainted myself with so many classmates I haven't seen since 1964. As a whole I am not a gambler and Vegas fan but this was a trip that was well worth it. I will certainly signup again in 2009. I rented a car thinking I might take in the casinos down the Strip but I never made it there. I was kept too busy by the well planned activities and hanging out with classmates. Although I wish I didn't hang out with Celia Narciso Perreira, Dennis Ouchi and Dennis Lee as much as I did; especially Celia who rousted me out of my room when I was trying to have a rest. She said I know you are in your BBD's but get some clothes on and get down to the 777 Brew Pub.

I wish to thank all you committee members and those that donated to the celebration. You did a fabulous job. Kudos to you all.

Comments:  Thank you all for a wonderful 42nd class reunion evening. Cynthia and I enjoyed ourselves. Cowboy music was super. Learned the cowboy culture at 19 yrs. old in the USA stationed in Korea when I was asked to go see the movie of Hank Williams story. Never heard of the guy, but for 25 cent movie I'll chance it. Anyway the food was ono. Talk stories with many was great. Thank you for the advance notice of the next reunion. E could you save your plastic bottles and call me for pickup. Thank you for all your hard work. Cynthia and I appreciated it. By the way I hand carried my glass painting? & it made it home. Told Barry Hanakahi that I don't do car wash for fund raising.

Comments: I'm looking forward to our 60th Birthday Reunion next year...well, I guess I'll be one of the older one by that time (I will turn 61).  NO, I did not flunk; it's just that my mom had 12 children, and by the time she registered me for school, she found out I was born in 1945, not 1946...so I skipped kindergarten and went to 1st grade. I would like to donate something to upkeep our website. Please let me know to whom I should forward this to.  I am looking forward to our "reunions"...good luck to our hardworking committee! See you then...God willing.   God Bless & Much Aloha.
